Purposes and legal bases of processing
Inquiries
If you contact us through the contact form or by email, the data you provide (such as your first name, last name, email address, your occasion and your message) is processed solely to handle and respond to your inquiry. The legal basis is the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering your request (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We keep this data for up to 6 months in order to handle any follow-up questions, unless longer retention is required.
Technical access data
When you visit this website, technical data is automatically stored in log files: your IP address, information about your browser and device, the referrer URL and event data. This data is processed to ensure the security, stability and availability of the website. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are kept for 3 months.
Video surveillance
In the clearly marked areas of our minigolf facility, we use video surveillance. The controller is Andreas Schuber, Minigolf Salzburg, Schmiedingerstraße 157, 5020 Salzburg, email: fun@minigolf-salzburg.at, phone: +43 660 3015001.
Video surveillance serves to protect people and property, to prevent and help clarify damage, theft and other security-relevant incidents, to safeguard our house rules, and to secure, assert, exercise and defend legal claims. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR in conjunction with Sections 12 and 13 of the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG). Our legitimate interests lie in particular in the safety of our guests and our facility, and in protection against damage and unauthorised access.
We process image data of individuals who are present in the marked camera areas, including the time of recording and the camera area. No audio is recorded.
Recordings are stored for a maximum of 72 hours and then automatically deleted, unless they are needed for the purpose of processing. Any storage beyond this takes place only in a specific incident, to the extent and for as long as this is necessary to secure evidence, pursue legal claims or comply with a legal obligation. Longer retention is documented and justified separately.
Access is granted only to persons authorised for this purpose. Disclosure takes place only in the event of an incident and only to the extent permitted and legally required, in particular to competent authorities and courts, insurers, legal representatives and, where applicable, engaged technical processors acting under a data processing agreement. No transfer of video recordings to countries outside the European Economic Area is intended. No automated decision-making, including profiling, takes place.
Subject to the statutory requirements, you have in particular the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and objection. In order to protect the rights of other affected individuals, access or a copy may be technically or legally limited. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde, Barichgasse 40 to 42, 1030 Vienna).
For inquiries regarding video surveillance and the exercise of your rights, please contact fun@minigolf-salzburg.at.
